Acupuncture

This is an ancient healing art over 2000 years old and still standing up to both clinical and scientific scrutiny. Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into meridian points on the body. The philosophy behind it involves the flow of energy (you could consider it information) through your body. When the flow is blocked it creates stagnancy and/or deficiency somewhere in you, leading to dis-ease. By removing these blockages, circulation of this energy/information resumes and the body goes back in to balance and ease. For people afraid of needles, we use electro-stim to the points needed for the treatment.

Ariculotherapy

This is a form of acupuncture where very small needles are placed in the ear. It can be used to treat specific organs, to control pain, appetite, addictions, and mood imbalances.

Aromatherapy

The use of essential oil is ancient and is even mentioned in the bible for their healing qualities. We use Young Living Oils because they provide the best over all quality.

Chiropractic Manipulation

This is a gentle manipulation, or moving, of the bones to restore proper alignment and motion. This can be done anywhere on the spine, but can also be applied to any joint in the body, such as ankles and elbows. A manipulation done elsewhere besides the spine is called an extraspinal manipulation. Manipulations in this office are done gently. They cause no pain. They help to increase flexibility, reduce pain, and allow your joints to move properly.

Foot Orthotics

Sometimes a person can not hold his/her adjustment because the imbalance is actually in their feet. It is same as if you built a house on an unlevel foundation. The house would be fine for a while, but eventually there would be cracks in the walls and the doorways and windows would slant. It is the same with your feet and your spine. If your feet are misaligned then it is very likely that your pelvis and spine will be too. Not only does this cause misalignment it also predispositions you to injuries like herniated disc, sciatica and knee pain.

Hair Analysis

We run two types of hair analysis. One is for toxicity and heavy metals and the second is for mineral and vitamin deficiency. Only a small amount of hair is needed. It does not have to come from your head. Instructions are given at the office for proper collection. It is best if you do not perm or color treated hair for 30 days prior to collection.

Homeopathy

We use modern homeopathic remedies. Homeopathy is based on the theory of like treats like. It also believes that the smaller the amount of medicine, the stronger it's potential to cause a healing reaction in the body. I have found them to be very effective remedies in speeding healing and stimulating a cleansing response in the body.

Iridology

Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye. We know that the body copies itself reflexively repeatedly all over itself. So you have heard of reflexology, where the body is mapped out on the ear, hands and feet. It is also mapped out on the iris of the eyes. Iridology works by showing areas of the body that are under stress and using up nutrition more rapidly than it can be supplied. It is NOT used to diagnose illness. It can not be used to find cancer or pregnancy. But it is wonderful for helping to recommend proper nutrition to support dis-eased or weakened areas of the body.

Lab Testing

We provide blood, urine, saliva and culture tests. We can test for most problems including anemias, hepatitis, diabetes, Female endocrine dysfunction, cortisol imbalance, digestive function. etc….

Massage

Deep tissue massage and neuro-lymphatic stimulation are frequently used during therapy to decrease muscle spasm or to stimulate faster drainage of toxins from an organ or muscle tissue. We also offer hour long full body massage.

Physiotherapy

Moist heat packs and ice packs are frequently used in our office in combination with electrical muscle stimulation to help reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation, as well as relax tight muscles.

Vitamin & Herbal Therapies

These therapies are recommended where necessary. It can be very difficult for the body to heal itself when it requires more of a specific nutrient than the body can consume or create. Vitamins work as building blocks and also as co-factors in chemical reactions necessary for life. Herbs help stimulate body functions, such as self cleaning. A good example is milk thistle for cleansing the liver. The products carried in this office are of the highest quality and most are professional lines that are only available to doctors.
